Starts college at age 18 in Ontario.

Top exec of bank responds and gives him an internship.
Sells computers out of his dorm room.
Transfers to UPenn double majoring in physics and economics.
Starts Zip2 with brother, coding it himself. Later gets 22 million from sale of Zip2.
Starts X.com, an online bank, with his own money in 1999.
Merges with Confinity a year later forming PayPal
Learns how to build rockets from books and then starts SpaceX in June, 2002.
In 2004, meets Marc and Martin, Tesla founders, and suggests they work with JB Straubel on electric cars.
After three unsuccessful rocket lauches, SpaceX and Tesla start running out of cash.
In September of 2008, fourth rocket lauch succeeds and Tesla raises funding before going bankrupt.
In 2011, he promises to send humans to Mars by 2021-2031.
Announces reusable rockets making space flight 100 times cheaper, first one successfully lands in 2015.
Model 3 production is on track to start mid 2017.
By 2018, the Gigafactory will reach full capacity.
By 2025, Mars Colonial Transporter launches.
Tickets to Mars will be 500,000 within Musk's lifetime.
